When I sat down at the table, a girl from the front desk came over and brought me bottled water and a fresh green apple. I didn’t ask. She just did it.

Maybe it’s my sparkling deep, brown eyes or maybe it’s just that this hotel has trained her to OVER-DELIVER for her clients.

It’s such a simple concept, isn’t it?

And do you realize 99% of businesses don’t do this?

Do you see how much of an advantage it can be for you?

 

OVER-DELIVER FOR YOUR E-MAIL CLIENTS

Promise them turmeric. Bring them turmeric. But bring them ginseng too.  Aside from that, never be salesy and generic, know your customer and BOOM!!! You’ve over-delivered. And they will have an experience that will inspire them to buy more from you while referring YOU to their friends and family (which IMO, is the highest recommendation you can give me).

 
 

However, there is a right way and a wrong way on how you write your emails.

Wrong way: Hard-selling

The problem with hard-selling is that it is not sustainable and it ruins the relationship that you have with your list.

But if you`re sending hard-sell emails which are generic, boring and pushy, no one is going to read them. Or maybe they will because you caught them with a great subject line-but guess what?

After a very short time, how do you think people will react when they see that they received an email from you?

They DON`T trust you, they DON`T like you and they are NOT going to buy from you.

Being boring is the #1 sin of marketing.

That is especially true when we`re talking about email marketing.
